Definition:  "Piggyback" - a procedure of procuring goods or services by utilizing another public entity's award of an Invitation to Bid or Request for Proposal."

The following bids have been awarded by the V.A.L.U.E. member agencies as noted.  Although these bids were not released specifically as V.A.L.U.E. bids, the member agency has included "piggyback language" for V.A.L.U.E, so that other member agencies may have the ability to take advantage of the contract pricing.  V.A.L.U.E. members are encouraged to review bids of interest, to examine whether the specific terms and conditions meet both their needs and the requirements of the awarded contractor.

Some of the contracts, while extending "piggyback pricing" for V.A.L.U.E. members, may have stipulations as to commitment, delivery area, etc. Questions regarding the ability for V.A.L.U.E. members to take advantage of a specific contract should be addressed to the awarded contractor as noted below, or listed in the Bid Tabulation documents.  V.A.L.U.E. has not reviewed the contracts listed, and as such, is unable to offer any endorsements of same.

The V.A.L.U.E. group encourages member agencies to include the V.A.L.U.E. piggyback language in their bid specifications.  The piggyback clause is located in the "Documents" page of this website.
